Nature Therapy Intensives
If you're looking for a new way to get deep in therapy and you love nature, this is it. Join me for 90 minute to 4 hour sessions that give us the chance to talk more deeply and use intentional nature and play based interventions to move you through the therapeutic process. You decide if we do one intensive session or if we meet regularly to meet your goals.
In these sessions, we will do a combination of talk-therapy, therapeutic skill building, and specific nature based interventions, which will be selected based on your goals. Nature interventions are a simple and effective way to decrease loneliness, increase feelings of connection, purpose, and meaning, and create depth in life. Nature is inherently grounding - the 'ground' of Mother Nature is where the term comes from! This makes nature a particularly appropriate place to learn ways to cope with anxiety, stress, and burnout. We can also learn amazing lessons about grief, love, loss, purpose, motivation, and patience through nature metaphors. And, of course, we can join with nature to learn to play, how to show up authentically, and how to zoom out of our personal lives and practice not taking things so seriously. The best part is - nature is everywhere! Even in the city. That means you can apply whatever you learn in these sessions no matter where you go.
